I have seen a great many things this past year, but something that effects all of us is happening right under our noses and it seems that we are blind to it. I am talking about pollution, not just air and water but the garbage that finds it way into our environment every day. Plastic bottles thrown from cars, fast food wrappers strewn along the side of our streets, broken glass everywhere(the latter is a pet peeve of mine being a bicyclist), WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, is it to heavy to carry to a waste basket. Now I know a lot of Americans are out of shape but that's ridiculous. Lets all make an effort to clean up what's arround us and make this a better, more beautiful place to live. It wont pick itself up, it's up to us.
As for the world, first we have to stop killing each other, than, maybe we can start to heal this beaten and tired world. No good will come while people are destroying themselves for petty differences. I mean, does it really matter how a person worships, or what color their skin is, or what language they speak. NO it does'nt. These things are inconsequential in the long run. We are all the same, we laugh, we cry, we love, we hate, and we all pass on sooner or later. So how are we different. You tell me.
